Really it doesn't take much brain power to think of another way to do it.
*hint* Let's see... I want to copy bits of the screen shown... do any paintshop applications have anything that can let me do that.

Yeah, you can copy and paste the image to a paint program. I think I know the problem you're having though. You know the image is a gif, but when you right click and save as it tries to save as a bmp, even though it an animated gif. You can always right click and email the picture to yourself, then save the picture from there.
