> diffrence between duo and duo pro?

with the memory card from my p900 i can view the files through my PC explorer why can i not view the file on the duo pro , it just tells me no disk present?

Duo ranges from 32 to 128MB. Duo pro can be up to 1GB. I dont think P900 doesnt support duo pro, but P910 does.

yeap u r right. p900 only supports duo n not duo pro. i hv no problems viewing file on the duo pro via the pc. u might want to check the usb connection?

Yes. But all Sony RELATED products use memory sticks. They are not intercompatible.

There are a lot of memory card standards... very VERY annoying.
-Memorystick (standard, duo, pro, & pro duo)
-CF (type 1 and 2)
-SD (standard and the new compact SD)
-MMC
-Smart Media
Some are backwards compatible, others aren't... so there are at LEAST 10 different types of memory cards out on the market today.

Long normal MS
memory stick - up to 128MB (cannot use in SE phones)
memory stick pro - up to 2GB (cannot use in SE phones)
Short new MS
memory stick duo - up to 128MB (P900, S700)
memory stick pro duo - up to 1GB (P910i, V800)
memory stick are manufactured from SONY, MagicGate & Sandisk
Sandisk is known to be the cheap in price among the others & Sandisk memory stick pro duo is only available up to 512MB. Sandisk pro duo is in light blue colour.
