Removed the battery for about an hour and see what happen, I've read that's what people with this problem do.
Sometimes it work, if not I guess send it to SE.

@whot - Have you installed anything on the phone - a game, app, ringtone, mp3 etc.? What kind of phone is it - is it a P900?

It could be that the memory's full - try turning the phone on, and leaving it. It might take minutes, or even hours, but leave it and see if it will power up past the welcome animation. If you can power it up, try deleting something, like an mp3 file or game or something. This may take a while, getting through menus could take ages, but this may work (if you can get it to power up!)

I won't blame it on SE though. It could simply happen to a Nokia as well. It's just your luck that the phone turned sour on you. Just be cool with it, try turning it on and wait for a while, and it could be quite a while. If all else fails, send it for service then. All the best.

I had exactly this problem with my P910i, about three weeks ago. I also had a bit of a panic, like you!!

Solved the problem (or rather, it went away) when I tried connecting the phone to the charger WITHOUT the battery in place. Then connected the battery and all seemed well again.

Good luck.
