I'd like to be able to use my laptop for internet access on my boat, and Im looking at what is the cheapest way to get access.
Seems the options are:
1) Buy a GPRS card, & either go on a data only contract or Orange PAYG (about 1pound per meg tho!)
2) Use my P800 as a modem and connect to a dial-up ISP using my free minutes? What speed is the P800 modem, only 9600 arent they?
Any suggestions?

P800 can support 19.2 or 28.8kb/s HSCSD connection.
