How do i put my P910i back to its origional state, the same as when i recived it.
Last night i did a update of the software on it from the sonyericcson web site. thinking this would do it but the extra programms i have loaded onto it are still there.
I have tried a master reset in the controll pannel but still the softaware i installed is still there!
I can also not delete or format any thing on the duo pro card, and not view any thing on the card through win explorer says no disk present? the usb connection is fine coz when i put the duo from my old P900 in it views every thing fine?
I have had my P910i for about 3 months not but not used it coz can not get any of the software i loaded onto it off!!???
PLz PLz Help me out here PLz

Question: is your phone branded with something or is it unbranded?
If you reflash a P910 and 'that software' is still on it means the software comes with the phone. WHAT software are you talking about? Branding-specific software can most of the time NOT be removed!
Master Reset will put the phone in a state as being new & unused, so all software, contacts, userdata etc ARE GONE. Maybe the software is on the MS DUO but still it would require a reinstall to show up in your P910 OS.

Make sure you have a good reader (try another one) and a decent OS. In worst case your card is dead and needs a replacement (I doubt that tho'). Use Disk Administrator to see if the card shows up there, explorer is useless crap to debug disks & memorycards. If DiskAdmin cannot reformat it, it's a hardware issue with card or reader.

the phone is branded By Orange
After a master reset these programs are still installed.
Message storer
Moto racer
my buddies
news
Rally Pro Contest
Remote P900
Sms Reminder
V-rally
The above programms were definately not pre installed on the phone. The contacts and messages however have been removed from the phone with the master reset.
i can view stuff on the duo pro card when the phone is in the cradle and using epocware - filemanage 1.0
when i try to delet stuff i get this message win 32 error (33).
your advice greately appreciated! do i need to get the phone flashed at CPW how do i find out where the service centers are?

what happens if you try to uninstall any of these programs? (using uninstall in main panel)
or a master reset WITHOUT the card inserted?
or use SMan and delete these dirs/files directly on the phone using the SMan filemanager? Install SMan if necessary.
and how do you do a master reset exactly? Really, a master reset will put the phone back in the original state without any custom software, unless you restore a backup of course. So normally it is impossible to see any old soft back after a master reset. (unless the Orange branding screws things up). The error you get is because the file is in use and cannot be deleted while being inserted in the phone. Can you delete photos etc? Or are all files locked?
if you see something on the duo using the normal cradle way, I don't see the point that you won't see anything on the same duo if used in a VALID cardreader. Did you ever succeed reading a duo in the cardreader you currently use? Maybe it's an old one and didn't support duos.
But if you are not able to reformat the duo in a cardreader using the Windows Disk Administrator, your card is definitely kaputt or your reader malfunctions. Try it on another reader or PC.
And I assume you tried to format the card with the P900 format function itself...? (so power off P900, eject card, power on, insert card and reformat it in the control panel - that should disable all open handles (=in use) on the card)

You format the external disk by going to
apps/control panel/other/format
This will enable you to format your external stick, usually D:
