Hey, wondering is it possible to creat a software that actually customize it's original into Sony ericsson type?
Or i paraphrase it, Replacing 6260 internal design into Sony Ericsson K700i design? The Software...

you're talkin about takin a K700i OS which is especially designed for the K700i and puttin it into a Nokia... that's completely impossible.. everything is different on both phones..

I believe he was talking about making software for a series 60 phone that gives you the UI of a k700.. Kinda like windowsblinds or stylexp for windows.

it's impossible because of the hardware & programming. for example if it had a ui of k700, what would happen when you put in a rsmmc card? It would likely crash.

That's the UI - User Interface
I don't know if Series 60 software allows skins. I think it may be possible to make an app that simulates the K700i UI but it would be very complicated.

I dont think its extremely customizable, the positions of the battery meter & signal strength cannot be changed, & there are only two different type of clocks. The icons of the menu can be changed though
