> Help! Restoring P900 SMS after a reset

My P900's memory got full after a couple of months usage. I was unable to uninstall the games I have so I decided to just do a master reset the darn thing.
Prior to doing a master reset, I saved my SMS which is located in c:\system\mail
I saved the whole file to my MS Duo. After the reset, I restored the files to the directory. All went well except for the file INDEX. I was unable to replace the current INDEX file in the system mail directory as it was currently being used by the system. I turned off the fone function, SMS and all apps currently open via SMAN or TaskMan but still, the problem still remains. Is there any other way that I can do this? I have more than 600 sms there that I want to keep.
Any thoughts? Suggestions?
