> I dropped my K700i down the toilet

Okay.. so yeah.. anyone know if it'll work again? Should i let it dry out on its own? I hairdryered it for a while ... when i put the battery back in, the screen goes white without me having to even press the on button.. hm.
I may be screwed..

It is screwed all right. You cant get it replaced even if it is under warranty. They dont cover water damages.

I think you should take it to Service Centre ASAP and don't try to turn it on... or be sure that it is completly dry...
my friend has beer in between cover and screen for a months now and the phone still wotks OK

Take the battery out and leave it out for a few days, and put the phone in a warm place, like an airing cupboard. Take it apart if you know how to do help it dry, but don't attempt this unless you know exactly what you're doing. Don't try turning it back on until it's totally dry. Leaving the battery in helps components corrode - I can't remember the science behind that but it doesn't do the phone any good!
It may be a waste of time taking the phone to a service centre, as water damage generally isn't covered I'm afraid!

my friend once went to mcdonalds and bought his meal and put his phone on the the tray, aftyer finishing, he emptied the tray in the bin, after five minutes, he realised that he never had his phone, so he went back, and asked the lady if she could help him get it out, she said no. lol, so he had to go through all the rubbish and stuff, and it was all covered in coke and it wasnt working, so he just left his on the radiator for 15 minutes and it was was back to normal. lol

As it has been said:
1.) Remove all parts possible
2.) Place in a warm place (not on direct heat) and leave to dry for 5 - 7 days.
3.) Replace battery if possible - if not make sure fully dry and make sure no rattles etc can be heard when shaken.
4.) Insert battery and attempt to turn phone on. If it turns on, turn off and turn back on 5 times.
Hopefully you will have a working phone without surging anything and you shouldnt notice any difference.
Otherwise, you may be in trouble unless you have insurance.

Just to add a little to the solutions offered, spray the insides with a light spray lube, WD40 or GT85 to help drive out moisture and prevent corrosion damage. If the batt has got water inside it may have destroyed the protection circuit, so be careful when you switch it back on. Just make sure it's very dry before switching on. It'll prob be ok...my siemens survived a washing machine at 40c and 1200rpm spin!

Got my K700 in milk ( breakfest heh ) and blew out as much as I could and I left it dry for 24 hours and it's still working.
Just let it dry
