Hi Guys, this is my fiirst post here and i just wanted to ask anyone who knows how to install the .sis file and codec .sis file for the smart movie software onto the k700i. I'm using fma right now but when ever i try to send the file from my comp to the fone it says it can't send. My Friend using a 7610 says you have to send it to applications which my fones applications does not show up on the fma software when conencted. Can you guys tell me a step by step procedure or something like that. Thanx Heaps

sis files are for phones that use the Symbian OS. unfortunately, you would need a P800/900/910 to run smartmovie. sorry.

thanx for the reply but are you sure?. i've heard of alot of other people on these forums using smartmovie on their k700i's, correct me if i'm wrong. But if i am wrong are there and other softwares that have the same functions as smartmovie or similar?

As stated above your phone will not support .sis files however if you wanna install java applications and games all you gotta do is copy the java files in the root directory ie where all the folders like pictures,sounds etc are...the phone will auto install them.

But what is it you are trying to do - why do you want smartmovie installed on your K700 ?
K700 allready has a build in mediaplayer that will play properly encoded 3gp or mp4 movies. All you have to do is transfer the movieclips to your K700 and play them. But you cannot play movieclips that are not converted to conform to the 3gp standard - if you want to play movieclips on K700 you will need them to be encoded in this standard.
