i had sent 1sms 2my g.f in aruba (west indies) by orange (india) n it did charge me 20rs for 1sms but my g.f says its not possible 4her 2get it even thou u were charged 4it , n says its 2far or a long distance sms wont work , is it tru , btw i m using mas.aw now but only possible through internet

I dont know why she couldnt recieve it but its nothing to do with the long distance, I was sending sms from new york back to the UK while on holiday last year.
Has it worked before or is this the first time you've tried?

theoretically it is possible to send sms from one gsm mobile to another. but it's upto individual service provider agreements if the sms is actually carried through to the other network. so practically, it might not be possible to send to all phones.
