Hi there
I've just bought a V800 locked to Vodafone in England but it doesn't work with my portuguese vodafone Sim card.
Do you know why is this happening?
i've called to vodafone and they said that Vodafone cards are different from country to country and that the phone is locked to Vodafone England. Is this true? How can i solve my problem?

To unlock

phones it can only be done with a cable., this is because they are more complicated than phones like nokia which can be done with codes, use the service Pallister gave you a link to to unlock the phone.

Unlocking the phone by multiserver or other site needs a serial cable that i don't have, buying credits and it's complicated (at least for me).
What do you think of this site:
http://vodacodes.co.uk/shop.html
I know that it worked for some people and in Vodafone they do have this codes. Here in POrtugal they charge 100€ for that code. But my phone is English, so i need the english vodafone code (this is what they said, i don't know if it's true).
Should i go by this option (vodacodes)?
