Bookmark topic
I have a little problem with my P910a, that i never had with P800. Opera and WorldMate, doesnt want to connect at all. I can use net for SE internet software, email works fine, but those two and probably other apps., dont even look for anything. Do you have/had simmilar problems, and how do i fix it.

not so opera can work on GPRS as well. however if you have GPRS WAP service (like on o2 PAYG) then you have to go to the preferences in opera and enable proxy and it will work fine. I know the proxy details for using o2 PAYG on opera so if you want info on that then pm me or post in here for other members benefit

read the first post in this
thread and remember to set the WAP account port number to 8080. In opera use proxy server 193.113.200.195 and proxy port 8080. then your ready to go. also let opera initiate your GPRS connection otherwise it might not work correctly. hope this helps

Tmobile USA had that port 80 block so you need full internet plans, but Opera still work with basic Tzone. Go into Opera, under edit, preferences, check proxy enable, under server name put in 216.155.165.50 and port number 8080. That should get Opera going. As for other apps. you're going to have to set proxy or get full internet plans.
