Just had my new Sony k770 delivered this morning and i have been rading a lot about firmware upgrades.I have version R2AA003 on my phone.Not knowing which way they work this,is this the newest version.If not how can i get the new version onto the phone myself can it be done via infrared?

I believe the newest is R3AE033. Just take it to your local :se: service center and they will do it for free. You cant do it with ir, but you can use dockingstation dss-25.

I have just ordered a sync stand and i have an unlocked o2 k700i. It still has the o2 start up and shut down screens and the o2 logo in the menu screen. I use a vodafone sim with it. Do you know if i will have to have my frimware updated before my phone will work with the sync stand? How did you get rid of all the o2 stuff from your phone? Cheers.
