As you can see i am new to this phone at the moment i am having trouble connecting via infrared to my computer i have a MA-620 infrared port on the computer i have set the phone to infrared but then nothing happens i have installed the software which came with the phone.Its probally something totally stupid which i have forgot to do but i just can't seem to think of it.Any ideas?

I too am using ma620 with winxp. Does the ir port light up? What phone are you using? When you activate ir and keep it close to the ir, it should work. This message was posted from a K500

i am using a k700i and when i put it up near the 620 port the light on th eright flickers the light on the left is on all the time.When i used to use it with a nokia phone i had a tone to show there was a a connection with this i get nothing.What software do you use with this phone i am trying it with Sync station and mobile network wizard.

Native ir should work fine. What o.s are you using? Go to device manager and see if ma620 is properly installed. It should show that another compu is near by and is ready to send files. I am also using fma and dateimanager. This message was posted from a K500

Check yr ir modem drivers 4 the device, I had probs last nite with mine, u should get them from the se site no worries!
