I'm lost as to what to do...
I really wanted a K700i, but more or less everyday someone finds a bug... My friend has a T610 which seems bulletproof, thats what inspired my choice of a K700i, but with battery issues, firmware, etc, I'm seriously debating whether to or not. My other options are the 6230 or Samsung D500, both of which I haven't heard more than a few bad things about.
What does anybody think?

the bug people are talking about are just pedantic little imperfections. the k700i is a great phone. and i believe the d500 is well overpriced.

The D500 specs definately looks nice - but Ive read of plenty bugs allready. Most bugs have been fixed by now on the K700, while the D500 is pretty new, so if its bugs holding you off - then dont expect fewer bugs on D500 than on K700. There are NO batteryissues with K700 - only people not grasping that highresolution colorscreens, javagames, mp3 and videoplayback, playing radio, taking pictures, using bluetooth etc. etc. actually use battery. With normal average use and the latest firmware battery will last 3 days. This is quite normal for this type of phone and no other modern phone with the same abilities as the K700 will last any longer. Therefore expect the same batterytime and the same people complaining about "batteryissues" on every new highability phone that comes along. Atleast until they invent some new revolutionary batteries that are cheap enough to massproduce.

D500 is a newer model than K700 and does have the upper hand in specs. But its also more expensive. If you can afford it get the D500, if not im sure the K700 will make you happy.

Looking at a D500 and a K700i. I think you get more bang for your buck with a K700i.
