> help me make the Decision on K700i (URGENT)
Bookmark topic
Hello guys, i am new on this site. and i am thinking of switiching from nokia 6100 to K700i. but before i make the switch i wanted to know a few things clearly. i had tried using a T610 for a day before i bought my nokia but i had some problems with it. like i could not edit my phonebook from my SIM. i mean i could not edit my numbers which were stored on my SIM card. is that the problem with K700i too? can i add, delete or edit my SIM phonebook properly as i can do it in my nokia 6100 without any hassels? and the next question is that whether is it possible to use any mp3 or mp4 audio clip as my ringtone? and one more thing, i can record videoclips of 30 seconds only? is there any possibility to record more bigger clip than that?
please solve my quearies as soon as possible so that i can make my decision to switch to k700i soon. thank you.

As long as your network supports it, you can use nay mp3 as a ringtone. You didn't mention, which country you are from, but in the UK Vodafone handsets can't use an mp3, which doesn't isn't DRM encoded.
You can record video clips longer than 30 seconds, the only limitation is how much memory your handset has free.
I'm not too sure about the SIM card question, but I would imagine that the K700 will be the same as the T610 in this respect. Hopefully someone will post to clarify this issue.

You can set MP3's as ringtones but not as message alert. Sad thing that.

I'd say buy a K700. It's much nicer. To me that is.
