Keep playing with the settings. Unfortunately it is only a 0.3Mpex VGA camera. Best pix with lots of light. PIx are not getting really good anyway. You need to use a real digital camera if you want to get good pix.

i dont think thats an excuse, for the P900 it is as it was the standard for mobile phones.. For the P910 the should really have put a 1mp camera as its the minimum for the high end phones.. LG is moving to 3.2mp in a few months and i think a new user would definitely go for 1.3mp camera right now!
Plus the P900 has serious issues with the camera, like taking crap photos (compared to the nokia 6600 which was released almost at the same time 1.5 year ago) and NO ZOOM!!!! Even the nokia 7250i has zoom for god's sake!!!!

sadly i can say we have only a VGA camera within Pxx0 phones, but as the rumours, i heard that p1000 will come with a megapixel camera inside, thats why new nokia models can take pictures with perfect quality!...
But they cant do even %50 of applications that u can do with a SE Pxx0

Try a program called PhotoRite and see if that helps.
You can get it from My-Symbian here:

Good luck.
Let us know the results.

I dont care that the camera is low on pixel count, what I do care about is how dreadfully poor the camera performs in low light. The colours are so reddish and muddish that the quality is substandard for taking MMS pictures indoors. Why the heck did they put a night mode on it when the camera isnt even sensitive enough for indoor lighting?! Every other camera phone I have ever seen performs better. My P800 was more sensitive in low light! How can they go backwards after what 3 years?!
I dont really see why people are coming up with excuses, or irrelevent info - colour sensitivity and contrast have little if nothing to do with pixel count. And I am not referring to indoor lighting colour temperature.
