Hi! On my old P800 the sound suddenly almost disappeared. I’ve checked all settings and it’s not in silent mode and the volume is on max but it won’t help. The volume is very, very low in all situations; incoming call, SMS, e-mail, player and video. I have even reset the phone. Is this a matter for the repairman or is it something I can do myself?

Hi,
This can sometimes happen if the speaker inside the phone gets wet. Have you been in any wet/humid conditions recently? If the speaker has become saturated with water it will appear to be extremely quiet. Give it a few days and see if the sound returns to normal volume as it dries out. If not, could be a weak connection, or a faulty speaker.
