An wizards out there?? My NEW P910i touch screen has locked me out and I can't us it now. I tried jog dial press "back/forward and in" as on the (did not work). I tried taking the battery out waiting 10 minutes and starting up again (did not work). I tried pressing of/on for 10 seconds and restarting (did nt work). I cannot Master Reset - no access to the "other" tab using the jog dial....... frustrating... 800Euros and I can't use it. Seriously thinking about 2 cans and a piece of string. Anyone experienced similar help please, suggestions Ideas. Am in a remote location and cannot get back to supplier for 6 weeks to change it out. Can't access locks either as you need the touch screen for access.

Welcome to the P910 club, in spite of the "problems" which seem to be bedeviling your phone, I'm sure you will grow to love it soon enough. Try this:
-remove the battery, put the flip back on ( I am assuming you had removed it), put back the battery, then power on. This should give you access to the locks and you can disable the screen ones untill the problem with your phone can be diagonised, if it has one that is.

Hope this works!

Hey Geezay,
Thanks, It did not work. I have not had the flip off! In fact I am not even sure how to take it off. I tried your solution but no luck, any other ideas? It's driving me nuts not being able to use the touch screen as half the applications I cannot use properly.

You may have a faulty touch screen, whereby your only solution is to have your phone replaced.

If it's a hardware problem, even a 'Master Reset' won't help fix it.

Hope you get to resolve this ASAP and please give us an update as soon as it gets fixed. Thanks.

I have a friend who has a P910 with the same problem. He had his phone upgraded, and the problem was solved. So you just have to go to your nearest service point. Hope this helps.
