I have AgileMessenger, sman and Sony Ericsson Desktop on my P910. Yesterday I noticed some strange behaviour. I have the hardware button to open the internet using SEDT and I have disabled the hardware button within sman. This setup works fine until I launch AgileMessenger, if it is open when the button is pushed the phone makes a weird beep and no action is taken. If I hold the button down it opens a new message window in AgileMessenger and starts to record a sound clip then sends it when the button is released.

I can't find an option within AgileMessenger to disable this function. I wonder is anyone else experiencing this, or is it unique to me? Does anybody know a possible workaround?

If I can't solve this problem I may considering paying for IM+ because i like having my IM application on.

Its pretty annoying for me also. There not seems to be any work around. I am not using it daily coz mostly at Icq and then prefer myBuddies. But sometime I using Agile but always forgetting that Im using same button to switch between pages at HandyDay2005. Instead switch page Im sending a voice message to someone. Seems it is not an isolated incident then.

This leads me to ask if anyone has a similar issue with IM+...

Now I know what it does, I just wish it wouldn't do it.

I think it is pretty stupid that you can not make the choice by yourself if you want to send voice msg or at least have the choice to choose which button to use.

I agree that you should be given a choice. I actually like the button to open the internet browser like it did originally when i got the phone. It seems every program I put on my phone has some new and novel use for the internet button. With so many apps trying to use the button I get confused, I can't imagine all of the contradictory commands the phone is recieving each time I push the button.
