Qtek S100 is better than P910i for the following :

Processor: 416 MHz (P910i AMR 156 MHz i think...)
Connectivity : plus mini USB
Size: shorther, thiner and lighter
Camera: 1.3 MP
OS : Windows Mobile with Windows Media Player is cool...

The only good in SE P910i is 262K colors...

Yes, that Qtek looks like O2 XDA II Mini...

You also forgot to mention that windows mobile devices need a lot of ram and processing power just to run a few applications and that's not the case for the p910i which is why it's quite comfortable with it's processor.

the s100 seems better in spec....... but when u look @ it in the long run, it wont be able to have all the software and stuff we have on our p910i's. it probs wont get popular enough to have what we get

agreed?

as some of you probably know, I am using the i-mate JAM as my primary phone now. The JAM is just another name for the Qtek S100 or HTC magician, or o2 XDA compact etc etc.

As a prior P800/P900/P910i user this phone suits me because it does have all the power you need, runs all the latest pocketpc software (which is great because I can run all that I use on my iPAQ), including worldmate, avantgo etc etc. There is also alot more free and shareware available for this platform

its windows mobile 2003 SE so it provides landscape mode natively

it has an SDIO slot so extra memory is cheaper and I can plug an SD wifi card into it.

Sizewise it sits on my belt much less obtrusively than the P910 ever did.

pocket internet explorer has always been far superior to the built in P910 browser.

as an outlook user on my pc synchronisation works flawlessly

I use microsoft autoroute on my pc and they provide a pocketpc version which works great so I carry maps of where I am going all the time. thats not easy to do on the p series

the camera is 1.3MP and it does take good pictures and video but to be honest considering the P910 is 0.3MP the 1.3MP isn't really 3 or 4 times better as you might expect.

messaging works better in my opinon, especially MMS.

I could rave on and on with more stuff as to why I have swapped my P910 for this device but that will do for starters and you'll have to wait for my review (one day)

edit: in summary as an avid pocketpc user this is what I have been waiting for its just that previous pocketpc phones have been too big for my taste

One question.

My hearing isn't so good, how is the sound in S100 against P900?
