Hi guys ,
i just received my Brand New SE S700I but when i play midi or Mp3 on the External speaker it distorts, is it normal? i had the same problem with my K700I, but that s very annoying can anyone confirm or let me know if i have a deffective phone or if there is a solution thanks

well sometimes it depend on the song ,but i would say 95% of the mp3 or midi i listen to are distortioned ,from a time to another but i had the same problem with the K700I, so thats why i still dont know if it s normal but you clearly hear the distortion

as far as mp3/mp4 playback is concerned did u use media player to play them or just normal playback? if using media player then it depends on the equilizer settings and sometimes depends on the quality of the file also.

My S700i seems to be ok. No distortion when playing mp3 or midi. Bt there is a buzzing cause by the lens shutter cover (the gray cover). Is that the distortion u are refering to?

I use my S700 to play mp3s quite often. I only get distortion when the volume is nearly up maximum. The shutter on mine doesnt vibrate either. Sounds like there could be something loose inside your phone that could do with tightening.

well i dont think it s the shutter that vibrate, and i tried on media player and regular player same thing in minimum volume you dont hear it ,but let say @ half the volume or more you really hear it , i tested different Mp3 and midi files i think i have to test my files with someone else S700I

Maybe your mp3`s are of bad quality? If I play mp3`s with a bitrate worse then 192kb/s on my K700 I have the same problem when I turn up the volume!

On my P900 most MP4s, MP3s, midis play fine. Some distort even when the volume is turned way down. I attribute that to the file itself.
You need to find mp3s that do not distort your external speaker, so you can rule out the speaker.
