I use both Worldmate (weather, time, currency, to do list, cloths size) and Datemate (birthdays, anniversaries and day count down to each event) very very useful and handy apps. I think so anyway
Hell, I feel like purchasing the apps again even!!!!
It's that good. Must have. Get it!!!!

Hi Thanks a lot,
That indeed is a boost........... I would definately buy it.... There is one thing i would want to ask if ever u have faced any issue to that.... This is regarding that UPDATE button in world mate application for currency conversion... As for the demo i tried to use that button and update the currency values.... but as i have a GPRS connection which is WAP enabled only i could not get the updated values... the connection times out.... is it something that i need a full fledged INTERNET connection for the same....
Thanks in advance....

yes, you will need a full internet connection to use the weather and currency updates
I've been using this for a couple of years on the P series and also on my iPAQs and it also now works on my i-mate JAM too. Its usually the first software I install on any new device that is compatible
edit: btw, on the pocket pc's its even nicer as it does the updates automatically when you activesnc too!

Thanks a lot...... That indeed salved my issue... Now one more thing i need to understand as u said that u have been using it on every new device u get.... I would like to know that each time u get a device u buy this software as new or u use the same one.... As to what i know this when bought contains only one licence which again is IMEI specific.... and the register code will only work with the device that has that number... ????

I have both apps installed on my P910 as Trial Versions.
WorldMate
I regard as a waste of time unless you are a frequent traveller or are in a business where you need to know the times in other countries.
If you are a frequent traveller, stuff like the packing list are quite useful as well as weather reports in other countries (although the reports only seem to cover major towns and the data isn't that accurate).
Much of the stuff in the program can be found in other software packages that you may have already, e.g. clothe size conversions.
As for the OAG flight stuff. Well that's a load of Bullsh*t because you can get that info for free directly from OAG's website.
DateMate
Well that is brilliant. I purchased over a year ago a rival/similar product called Handy Dates.
Handy Dates is pretty O.K. but when I used DateMate I thought WOW! Unfortunately, Handy Dates hasn't been much improved since its release.
DateMate is definitely the best product of it's kind and is something I would recommend.
I hope my comments are helpful.

on the P series it requires a new registration key because, as you say, its IMEI based. Their policy for upgrades is that minor upgrades are free but major upgrades have to be paid for, although at a reduced rate to the full purchase price.
they usually bring out a major upgrade not long after each of the P series models has been introduced so you usually end up paying for the upgrade if you want to keep up to date
on the pocketpc the registration is based on the device name so is a little easier to move from device to device but the upgrade policy mentioned above remains the same
edit: @plevyadophy, yeah I agree its mostly useful for travellers and although I travel every week I haven't bothered with the PRO version because I simply don't need that OAG stuff. I do use most of the rest of the functionality quite a bit though

Just a quick warning that the weather report in Worldmate Pro is horribly inaccurate. Apparently it has been "scattered thunderstorm" in my city for the last one year! The other features in it though are quite useful.
