Hi all,

On two separate occations I have been exposed to a extremely high noise when calling someone with my T630. The noise is so high that it caused temporary(?) damage to my hearing the last time it happened.

Am I alone with this problem or is it a known problem? Currently I'm trying not to use the phone due to this problem but that is not a long time solution for me.

Best Regards,
Nicklas

I'm going to check it into service but I'm quite worried since the service guy I spoke to didn't seem to know about the problem and it sounded like if they didn't find the problem I would be left with it.

I really don't want to be exposed to this sound again so if they don't find the problem I don't know what to do...

@govigov, are you okay?

@nicklas73, ask them if they could spare you a service unit and let them use/observe the unit for a week.

I'm not completely sure when I got it but I think it was sometime in September 2004.

@blackspot

@nicklas73 I don't get it what noise you mean, but once I had a similar experience with my T68. Sometime I heared a screaming like noise, but now it's fine... it was my operators mistake. Anyway you should get checked at service.
