what's the best way to open it ... i'm asking b/c ppl said using fingernail is not so good b/c it can make the covering loose

That's what I use then - plain fingernail mate . . . Maybe a srew driver (flat) can do the trick too .

@yeppi - Since it is made up of 'rubber' , I guess any form of material that can be used just to have it opened will totally have no bearing to eventually make it's - cover . . . loose
! Just apply a very subtle and gentle 'pull' when opening it's - cover mate . . .
