Hi guys, I currently have a P910i and a T68i. I used the P910i all the time and take the T68i with me when I am going drinking (incase the phone gets damaged or nicked). Unfortunately I have never been able to get the T68i to sync up with my pc via the docking station and have to enter numbers manually I have the same problem with my girlfriends T630 and could never get the pc to see the phone.

I am looking to replace the T68i cos this problem is annoying me now.

My question is can you list all the KX00's that work the same as the P910i on the sync station, and/or if possible point me in the direction of instructions on how to get the syncstation working with T68's or T6X0.

Now that is a question and a half

Thanks in advance

in my experience all SE phones that have sync capability can be synced on the DSS-20 and DSS-25

the way I have done it is to have the appropriate sync software for the P series installed and also the sync software for the other phone (T68i, T610, T630 etc)

the problem is that both want to access the same COM port allocated to the USB connection for the docking station. By default I would leave the P series USB connection ticked but when I want to sync the other phone I would untick that thus allowing the mobile phone monitor access to COM port and thus recognise the phone and allow sync

I bought my g/f an S700i for Xmas, that connects via the same sync station as my P910.

Hmm, I went through these problems before with trying to untick the usb monitoring bit etc, do I need new drivers? Also with that S700i did you just put it on the sync station and start transfering files etc? or do you have to follow some procedure to get it to use different software?

Thanks guys

@frontman, any fiddling required with that?

I thought it was about time that SE made the two different software suites talk to each other so users didn't have to faff about with the stetings

I have an USB-Infrared adaptor that I use to sync my T68i. I could not make it work on the sync station. The T68i XTND software seems to coexist with the P910 software without any major problems. Quite often most of the Outlook address book will get resynched to the T68i, which is a very minor irritation.

By re-synched do you mean all the numbers get dumped onto the t68 or all the numbers on the t68 overwrite the outlook address book?

I will hopefully be using it just to dump all numbers onto the t68 each time I sync it, i.e. carry all my numbers in the P910 all the time and update those on the t68 before I go out with it each time.

The T68i entries are overwritten. Outlook is not changed.
