Does any one know he this is possible? Within phone you can change authentication, data compression, header compression, and quality of service. Can we get better prefer by changing these, or does it come down to what the network your on is capable of. I usually only get about 10kbps, not good enough, phone can do faster. @twerg: I do not have the tech details but I have been able to improve GPRS browsing speed here by tweaking with the internet account settings as you listed. This message was posted from a P800

I think this will all depend on which network you are - in/using !

Depends on what you are using GPRS for, but if you are using as a modem to connect your laptop, www.onspeed.com may be of interest. Uses compression technology to increase the speed of your connection quite significantly. Also works on PC connectivity - even broadband!

Have tried changing all option relating to may wap profile but have not noticed any real change in speed. pages consisting of pics or text load the same as before and chosing a link takes about the same time aswell. Never mind, im not that fussed over it anyway. Was just curious.
@djh999 Tried the codes you stated and the left softkey changes from call to send but results in a the message 'command error'. What is it meant to do?
Thaks to all who have replied.
