I want to buy a z1010 unbranded, will it work in the Philippines?

I've heard that de-branding a z1010 will make you lose 1800 frequency and the gprs/mms capabilities of the phone.

What are the pro's and con's of having a z1010 in my country? in your country?

Thanks! +639195904590

I guess it works wherever there is dual band. This message was posted from a K500

It should. We use GSM 900 and 1800 in PH, and Z1010 supports those in addition to WCDMA/UMTS.

I know two people using the z1010 locally, vwbeetle and 619. Check them out at the regional forums.

Pro: There won't be many of you using that phone.

Con: I'm not sure if you can get it serviced at local service centers.
