Hi i have a K700i on Orange UK. I updated my phone using the Sony Ericsson Update Service as son as i bought the phone to R2L001. And ive been trying to update it recently on the Sony Ericsson Update Service but it tells me..
"There is currently no service for devices belonging to your operator"
And
"Your device is not permitted to use this service
Your operator does not approve the usage of this service for this device.
We look forward to assist you again soon.
Thank you for using Sony Ericsson Update Service!"
What does this mean?? And im sure there are higher upgrades than R2L001! If i unlock my phone and try the Sony Ericsson Update Service again will it upgrade further??

The latest firmware on the update service is R2L. I advise against using the update service as the last time I used it I had quite a few problems with my phone.
