So hot info from vodafone people. This news is about an hour old so is super hot! All vodafone retail stores will be stocking the white variant of the v800 from monday next week. So you don't need to send the phone away to se. :-) shame though if your phone is over the exchange period or you don't work for voda. Me is gonna swap mine first thing monday mornin. ;-) see you all soon.

when I sent my V800 back I was curious and asked that question and was told they examine and test the phone thoroughly and if its in totally new condition with no marks etc then they reset the device and sell it as new otherwise it gets passed to dealers who sell refurbished phones

i think they get sent back to our main warehouse then back to se who do a complete reset and re package and then sent back out to dealers. i'll try an find out for sure.

I was interested in getting the V800 on Vodafone, but the contract is a complete rip off compared to Orange's rival service. £40 a month, plus £150 for the phone, its a joke.

I phoned the service center to get mine sent off but they said they would call me back and they never bothered..anway I will stick to getting it from the Swiss service center which means it will have ZERO outer branding.
My opinion is WHITE & RED dont mix well...(makes pink if you into diy)
