Whenever you try to pair up two bluetooth devices they will always ask for pin n you have to enter same no in both...this is for security reasons coz otherwise if you leave bluetooth on anybody could pair up to your device compromisin your data. Btw i use 0000 as well, pretty simple huh?

One way to prevent this is go to the connectivity options->bluetooth->my devices-> new device . Wait until your friend's phone is detected and select it. From now onwards, you dont have to enter a passcode but it will still ask for confirmation for access to the phone's files

Ok thanks i see the point of that.I was told by a mate who works in a factory that when they get a breakdown and they all congregate together that they are all sending and recieving stuff between them.Does that mean that they have all gone through the pin number with each other first?
Aslo how does this bluejacking work if you need a pin number to send stuff?
Thanks

you don't need a pin number when bluejacking.
with bluejacking you just create a contact, business card note etc and then choose to send it. you are then shown any phones in your area that are discoverable (or any which you have already paired with) and you simply select one from the list to send your item to
no pin number is required to do that

yes like masseur said, you dont need a pin number to bluejack, only when sending and receiving files like pics, sounds, themes etc
