i left my phone on overnight and then went to use it today and found it was turned off.I tried to turn it on but nothing at all.I tried to charge it and the on/off button on top is just glowing red and nothing happening.This is about the 3rd time it has switched off this way in the 6 days i have had it.also the screen flashes white when i turn it on.Is this phone now really dead?

@andru - Glad to have you on-board Esato mate

Looks like a firmware problem there - I guess

Have you upgraded it when bought? Is it still covered by warranty dude? Better return the unit to the shop where you bought it - if still permitted, if not, then best is to have it checked at your nearest

Service Center pal. Good Luck though !

No i have not touched it apart from putting on few themes tones etc.just managed to get it back on again and it told me to insert the sim (even tho it was in) took out battery and sim,reinserted and now the phone seems to be OK.Still going to take it back as there must be an underlying problem.
cheers

@andru - I am not technically inclined with what you are asking back there mate. About the firmware, the latest last year was that of the R2A . . . (only one - A), though was recalled, so for what I know now . .. it still is the - R2L... firmware mate. Good Luck!

@andru - Normally, newly bought

K700 fones have the stock - R2AA . . . firmware

So, it is of a wise decision to have it upgraded once acquired, I guess you can see the firmware version from the settings right

. . .
