what other phones were you looking at when you decided on the S700?

Why not just a replacement S700?
People seem to assume one faulty phone means they're all like that!

Im with you Mik. My S700i is the best phone I have had and I have never had a single fault with it. I would get it repaired and give it a second chance.

@LeeG
I have to agree with both MikLSP and jcwhite_uk in saying that you shouldn't give up on the S700 so soon. Just because the handset you got is faulty doesn't mean that every S700 is. I can't say that I have ever had any major problems with my S700, save for one instance of it 'crashing', which was promptly resolved by taking the battery out.
I have not experienced any bugs or problems with my S700 since then and it has performed very well indeed. It is one of the best handsets I have ever had and I would definitely recommend it.
If you are determined to change handsets then you should have a look for one, which best fits your requirements. Of course I would recommend SE, but there are mobiles from othe rmanufacturers, which are also very good.

Give it another try, or P910i the best phone on the planet.
