Now I know this is an SE forum but what of the 2 would you recommend? have heard the s700i is good but the software can be a bit slow at times.

Well you can step down and do a S700i, upgrade to a P910i or wait and see what comes down the pipeline and upgrade later.

I had thought about the p910 but i don't think there is enough different about it, my p900 is still the best phone I have had but out of the phones at the moment those 2 seem the best in terms of looks functions(eg; mp3 player and stuff like that) and the 1.3 megapixel cameras. I checked today and on my current tariff both phones would be around £200-£250 at the moment. I cannot upgrade till february so hoping that price will change. however the guy I spoke to said they can do a deal on the line rental to get me a really good saving.

@steve5424

I have a P900 and I don't se emuch point in buying a P910, as you say, the differences just aren't substantial enough to warrant a change in my opinion.

I have bene most impressed by the S700 and I would very much recommend it. The camera quality is superb, it really is the best cameraphone I have seen. The S700 also has a great range of features e.g. Bluetooth, memorystick support, excellent screen, etc. The design is another selling point, it really does impress people who see it and the build quality is top notch too.

I don't have any experience of the D500 so I can't offer an opinion on that.

I was also looking for a phone that was smaller than the p900, it seems that the s700i is around the same size as the p900 but the D500 is a bit smaller. I may just try one of them then if I don't like I will swap it.
