Hi guys,
After being upset with SE for quite a while know, I decided it's high time I got a business phone - so the P910i came as the natural choice. I went out, got a brand new P910, and happily went home. In the store I just played with it for a few minutes, called my girlfriend to tell her I was coming home and everything went just fine.
When I arrived home, I had my girlfriend call me and guess what - althougt the phone was making the click sound when using the jog-dial and the touch-screen, it didn't make ANY sounds whatsoever during an incoming call. After ruling out silent mode, volume and lack of a sound, I did what any Esato meber would do - I formatted the C: drive.
The funny thing is that the phone came to its senses, now it's ringing happile the ONLY sound file that apparently still has.
However, during the format process, the phone informed that the file system was corrupt - is this just standard information or was it really found to be corrupted?
Has anyone else experience this? BTW, firmware seems to be the latest - R3A004. Any inmput greatly appreciated.

I would do a restore funtion over the internet. If that does not help. Back to the shop to trade it in for a new one. It should have a few ringtones installed when it came.

Thanks for the replies, guys. The lack of ringtones is not a problem - I can always get more.
The scary part is about the filsystem corrupt message during format - that's what scared me. Is there any way to test the internal memory - maybe it's bad...
And now I've just installed SMan and try to persuade it to autostart. But when I go to Fn\Autostart\SMan is grayed out and cannot be selected - and when I click "Activate" I get "Error copying recognizer". What the hell is that?!

Nah, the corruption message is normal -- had it a few times on two different phones!

Yep
I have reformated all my phones P800/P900/P910 numerous times over the years and it always says "corrupted" when you format it

@lozishere: yeah, apparently it is. i did another format and it gave the same message. also, i assume the phone memory is ok since i did a back-up and there were no problems reading any memory zones. Also fixed the Sman problem - I hadn't yet inserted the Duo stick and in order to activate the autostart function, sman needs the d: drive. Must admit, the sman manual really came in handy. thanks guys. you're still the helpful bunch i remember. probabbly will have more questions over the next days, though... so bear with me, please. c ya!
