This forum is the first place I've heard of OGG format. My Audiograbber has ogg encoding.

What quality/bitrate should I use for decent sound? I've tried MP3 (lame) at 128 and it sounds pretty good to me. What is the ogg equivalent?

Is it the best format for getting decent sound off limited memory cards?

Ogg would be 64 which is the same as 128 mp3

OGG is the best format for mobile platforms, you can compress MP3`s to approx 1/3 the size and achieve the same sound quality!
Plus OGG is freeware...

I'd say Yes, Ogg is the best format for getting decent quality audio on a limited memory. Use OggPlayer on my P800 and its great.

I use MediaMonkey which is free if you go for the Standard download

Wma for sure, but ogg is definitely better than mp3. Although I hate them both.
