what steps do you need to take??
i saw sum dss-20 drivers i need to install but how?
i just dont want to mess up my phone or do sumthin wrong. so is there a walkthrew for newbies?

There are full instructions on the Sony Ericsson Update Service site:

Click on FAQ at the top... it says:

What is required to run the update service?

An internet connected PC. Preferably broadband, but it is also possible to use a modem connection.
A DSS-20 or a DSS-25 desk stand installed and connected to your PC.
A fully charged battery.
At least a PC with a Pentium 133Mhz and 32 MB RAM, or more.

Also, instrcutions on how to install the drivers for the DSS-20 or DSS-25 are also on the SE site:
