I am tired of reinstalling Sman cos of compatibilty problems with SE desktop. I am just not using Sman, its just sat there spouting out errors.
In frustration, how long is it going to take Sman people to fix the compatibility issues huh? Its been ages already!

I would love to hear what the "SMan people" have to say...

I know the guy and I bet he wants to strangle you...
Come on ! Its a free software ! ...

I don't see others complaining... I guess if he was here, he'd say "RTFM!"
Go figure...

I had problems with SMAN and SE too. Somewhere on this board i read this:
--------------------
1). Un-install both Sman and SE Desktop
2). Install Sman
3). Take a snapshot of the running processes
4). Install SE Desktop
5). Reboot and all is fine again.
----
6). Never take another snapshot (at least until SMan gets fixed)
---------------------
It worked for me.
I am still working with SMAN and SE because i think tey are great products.
Edwin.

I have SMAN and the SE Desktop installed since it first came out last year, never found a problem between them?

make sure you RTFM esp with those files in use which need to be deleted manually. when upgrading.

So,
lots of people don't have problems with SE desktop and SMAN and some of us do. There have been more theats about this issue on this board. Maybe it is a firmaware related problem.
I have a P910i with CDA162005/3 R3A04.
What about you Frontman?

I appear to have CDA162006/16 R1A03. Probably old.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled sman now a couple of times, but thats becoming tedious and isnt something I can be bothered to do. Basically as we all know, Sman crashes when a new snapshot is loaded after you have installed SE DT. Dont ask me why if it doesnt do it for you, but it does here.
Sanjeev, shut up you noggin.
