> f500i cable not working

hi i have just got my f500i cable and i have installed the pc suite cd that you get with it but im not sure how you connect the phone to the computer.the cable is plugged in and is installed correctly but when i put it in the phone nothing happens.i have tried with the phone on and off and im not sure how you get it working and how to put stuff on the phone.could someone help me please!

where is the phone moniter and all i did was install the cd software then i plugged the cable in and windows xp set it up automatically and i didnt see no phone moniter or anything like that and i dont have a clue about ir and ive never used it.

You need to install phone monitor for all these to work. It will be in the pc suite cd.

i have just put in the cd again and i pressed install pc suite.then it said remove,modify,repair. i clicked modify and it came up with all the different features but phone moniter was greyed out.what shall i do now?

Go to control panel and see if it is already installed. Else first uninstall all files then install pc suite.

ok thanks.it is now uninstalling because it was not in the control panel.hopefully it will work now.how do you send the files to the phone anyway and can you compress them so they are smaller?

Try restarting pc. Did you try the other two softwares? (I am not sure, but i think those two will work even without installing of phone monitor.)
