Hi Guys. Help needed. I have a problem. My k700i adress book is almost full (501 of 510). Since it is not possible to expend contact book in k700i, I was wondering if S700i has bigger memory for contacts. So the question is : Should I replace k700i with s700i ? If I should, what is the battery life in s700i, what is the latest software, should I try to get a debranded s700i, and last, is it better in performance than k700i (considering the price it should be) ??? I thank U for your posts.

I think it is time for you to upgrade to p series. P910 would be a good choice. Considering p910 and s700i are in the same price bracket. This message was posted from a K500

@ Govigov
Thanks for the reply, but didn't help much. Already have a pxxx series (read my signature ), but I need a smaller phone for my work, and a p800 is for my private pleasures.

Thanks anyway mate. BTW, comparing to pxxx series, I wouldn't agree that s700i is a big phone. Anyone else ... ???

The contact mem on the s700 is the same as on k700. Its still restrictive im affraid. As far as I know there is only one battery available for the s700 so you are stuck with the original. The battery life is supposed to be better on the s700 but I cant confirm that as I havent used the K700.

s700i also has memory available for only 510 numbers ??? It's not possible to expand that memory via memory stick ???

If you want to chenge solely on the # of contacts & battery life, I suggest you stay with your k700 or you just buy the s700 for your phone collection

You really would wish that SE comes out with an update that allows more (or why not all) of the available memory be used for things like contacts and sms. I don't know what the exact sms limit is but it's really annoying getting "your sms memory is 95% full, delete some" every now and then when you know your phone has 42MB of memory and you're maybe using 2MB of those. It's just a bad architecture that they should fix.
