Ive just bought a p910i on orange. Is it worth getting the firware flushed out with an up to date se version? Would appreciate your thougts please as Im not sure what the differences are.

If it has an Orange homescreen on it then i would recommend you get it flashed to an unbranded SE firmware, because you'll more than likely run into problems when installing software on an Orange branded phone.

The video's on an unbranded firmware are much sexier too!

If you are in London, the Orange Repair Centre at Oxford Circus will update your firmware to the latest non-branded (yes, generic) firmware.

Astonishing maybe, but true.

They will not, however, unlock your phone for you - however if your phone is already unlocked, the firmware update will not affect it.

YEah, same here. I live in Lancaster. Theres a Service Centre in Blackpool that I know of. They updated my p800 firmware last year. I'll give them a try.
