what programs can convert mp3 to 3gp and mp4? a while ago i read about this on the site but ive done several searches and cannot find it. i have a k700i and ive heard 3gp and mp4 can cut down the size of the file alot. ive found a program that converts to mp4 but im not really satisfied - dbpoweramp. it changed 4mb to 1.75mbs, the quality was better than i had but it had added screeches which i dont want. 3gp is better than mp4 ive heard. currently i convert all mp3s into 64kbps, 48000hz and mono mp3. id also like to listen to music with stereo. the k700i is a great mp3 player, if you've ever put a unchanged song onto it the quality sound with headphones is ace. ashame for the 40mb memory.

what do you expect for 200 pounds, i think 40 mb is quite adequet, it isnt an iPod after all!
but yes, it is small, and hopefully updates of the k700 (like a k710 or k800) will redeem this will expandable memory!

google for dbPowerAMP - that program can convert to mp4, - you might need to download mp4 codec on the download site too. cant remember it though, but i know i downloaded it, and i can convert to mp4 just by rightclicking on mp3's and select "convert now"

@Vanquish - it's a phone; not a PC, not a PS2, not an IPAQ, but a phone! Not even a smart phone, nor one of those multimedia, take-all-your-cr*p-around-your-home-with-you devices. It's a newish 610, nothing more!
