yeah i think so.......if it doesnt hv enough light is will become abit reddish, try to turn on more light and see the different and try to play with the camera light setting.

Seems that all the camera phones have that problem. Think its something to do with the type of bulb. If you're under flourescent tubes they tend to come out with a bluish tint. Filament bulbs give a softer light than tubes which tend to be a harsh white light because of the way they work.

It's all to do with white balance. The red image is a result of tungsten electric lighting. Our eyes and brain compensate for the difference but digital image sensors just tell it how it is. Change to the indoor setting and the picture processing will compensate to a degree.

No my p910 gives diabolically red shots in indoor low light - it is much worse than my old P800 camera in the same conditions. My P910 camera has virtually no sensitivity to green in this light. In daylight the camera is fine though, but indoors the camera fails miserably, with very reddy very dark images, much much worse than camera phones my friends have, which give plenty of sensitivity to red/green/blue for indoor lighting.

I had assumed I had got a faulty phone and was surprised to hear someone else have the same problem. Did you get you P910 recently? I did, just before Christmas.

Sure light bulbs give off a more orange hue than natural light, but not to this extent. Are all P910s this bad in low light or is it just a duff batch or something?

I think we are all just gonna have to put up with poor results on the current crop of camera phones because essentially the cameras are novelty items.

We will have to wait until 1.3 Mp cameras are more common for better results or better still, when like in Korea, we end up with 3 Mp camera phones.

I mean, can you imagine that?!! 3 Mp on a bloody phone!!! And the thing has optical zoom too ..... yep that's right a moving lens. Incredible.

At that sort of level of photographic quality phones will be expected to perform better and they will.

Ive had my p910i for a week and I was very surprised when I saw how "warm" the pics are in indoor lighting. Didnt have a problem under the same conditions with my p800. And yes, white balance is set correctly So why the big step back? hmmm

Slightly off topic but I bought Photopro to try and get rid of these colour casts amongst other things .. Most functions work OK but the Reducr red/yllow tinged funtions seem to do nothing? Has anyone else tried this?

I must say that im very dissapointed with my P910i at present. The picture quality indoors,is terrible and unforgivable,I have only had my phone two days so maybe im having a"bad"day or two,the images on my girlfriends nokia 6600 are FAR better.I CANNOT get my phone to connect to my pc,i have installed the se pc suite, and Ive tried everything, even disconnecting my pc from the internet, turning of my Norton, and My spyware, and still no joy, even with it uninstalled, and installed again!!!!!!!My last smartphone was a Treo 600,never had any problems like this??Maybe its me?????
