Ive got a icon sitting on my mail box, rather unusal, I have checked in manual book its called a WAP push message. what is that and how do I get rid of it?

He you are using se phone than in to your message box's option and find wap push and clear it if you dont want that message then set it to dont allow

WAP push enables push messages(possiblly advertisement) to you through wap over GPRS.
You can disable it from the phone setting, depends what phone you are using.
Ericsson phones for example R520/T39, go to WAP settings-common-Push Access.
Sony Ericsson Phones, for example Z1010, go to Messaging-Setting-Push.
