> K700 txt message delays on O2
Bookmark topic
Has anyone been experiencing txt message delays on O2 when using the SE K700. I have recently been recieving txts that were sent 2 days ago. I find this annoying as I sometimes send txts which require a reply within an hour. Could this be a problem with the phone or its the network? HELP!!!

ermm, i think you will find that your problem will exist with any phone you use. o2 always has issues with text. if you can afford it, phone o2 to sort it.

there is a particular problem with k700's on o2. There seems to be an incompatibility somewhere. o2 are replacing the phones if you call up, however my replacement was still no good. In the end, after many hours on the phone to them they agreed to send me a non for like replacement, my s700 should be here soon.

Well tbh o2 txt service is shite! Wen i had my t610 it used to take at, 1 time, hr + for person to recieve it. Sometimes they wouldn't get it till next day. But anyway i can tell u txt mess for me so far on k7, as been fine.
I tink there message center must av had probs or sumit.
Cant see how the type of fone would matter at all..

I've only had one text message delayed sinse buying my K700 on the O2 network 6 months ago.
Apart from that I can't really fault there messages ( except I can't have delivery neports unless I type *0# )

They are just trimming down the cost.
Just type *0# then your message for delivery reports
With 200mins xnet and 500 texts for £30 I'm not really complaining.

I went to one of the O2 shops and spoke to one of the guys there. When I first told him about the problem, he told me it was because of network congestion. If it was during New Year's Eve I would understand, but honestly its been about more than seven days and i still recieve them late. Anyway the guy had to call-up one of the customer service people who sed a mailbox refresh needs to be done. Once this is done, all will be sorted.
