I have been enjoying the free access on O2 on my p900, and there are a few limitations with the proxy connection (no cookies). Esato is the only place that I can communicate with other humans!! Does anybody know of any other way to communicate with humans using this connection? very lonely here...
any help appreciated,

(email, messenger, lrc, javachat, does anything work with this connection!)

I have tried many Instant Messengers that are meant to use HTTP and only the Trillian plug-in IM Anywhere works. You need to set it to use port 8080. It does Home Automation as well.

The Trillian plug-in is actually I.M. Everywhere and it's from http://www.iknow.ca/imeverywhere/. You need the current (er, payable) Trillian 3 PRO running as a server (the free version doesn't allow plug-ins). Other clever uses are remote control of Winamp and FTP serving of your PC's MP3s & files.
