> problem with T68 bought in Singapore
Bookmark topic
hey'all.
when in Sing, i bought myself a T68.
i am very satisfied with it, however back in Poland, i went to the service to have my phone upgraded to "i" version and added the polish language support (menu & T9),
it turned out that because the phone is from singapore, it cannot be upgraded here in poland !!!
can any1 confirm that ?
do i really have to come back again to Sing, to have my phone upgraded to "i" version and added PL language ? In that case, buying SonyEricsson T68i here would be cheaper !
help, anyone ?
regards,
Qlex

because you got yourself a T68mc and not T68m. you can only upgrade it to "i" in Hongkong or Singapore AFAIK.

It can be true.
I have bought my in Dubai, and currently I have it succesfully converted to "i", with polish menus and polish T9. Moreover - it was done for free as a warranty service - no matter I have only UAE warranty card. The keyboard is still arabic;))))

I bought my T68m in Poland and upgraded to 'i' in service point for free. You should have bought it in Europe. Greetings from Poznan, Poland. MacF ;-)
