hello everyone, some of u may remember that last week ma v800 died unexpectedly of unknow reasons, well guess what! ITS DONE IT AGAIN!
Yes thats right, i was listening to my mp3's on the way home (i gonna stop doin this on my new one wen i have swapped it) an it switched off.... thinkin it was a battery not bein charged i left it till i got home. But alas no battery light and no switchin on... bugger. I really dont know what the hell is goin on. I know loads of people with this phone and no1 has had this problem happen to them... i have on my 512Mb duo card:
67 audio files (ranging from small tones to full songs),
81 image files (all taken on the handset),
100 Themes,
21 video files and,
147 java games (a lot i know but i get bored easily)...
and about 384Mb of free space (so it isnt even near half used let alone fully used)
Just an eyes up for everyone, as i gonna swap it tomorrow in work i aint that bothered... its jus a bit of a ball ache and may happen to someone on here...
See yeh soon...

its one of a few things that they didnt have someone check during testing... i know as i do that for my job... they should of loaded the memory card with lots of media an tried using it...
Could b a big problem if it aint sorted soon.

i don't think you should comprise with something so simple as playing an mp3. my personal opinion is that you wait until voda/SE get their act together, or get a different phone. crashing playing an mp3 is awful.

Examine the length of the filename for your files. My phone would not let me play-back songs which had long filename's, though it never crashed. I hope this helps a bit

i am startin to think that someone in voda has a big button with my name on it and each week they check esato for my posts and if i have given ne info away they press this button an ma fone self destructs...
or i could jus be wearing the little pixies (yes all fones r run by tiny pixies in your phone!) out too quickly and they b dying on me
poor little fellas (an ladies as SE is an equal opportunities employer) i must of killed loads of them in last week... now if only i could order some spare pixies... i'd b a happy chappee.
Done a search on google an nowhere can supply pixies at a decent price.... lol.

@voda_jon,
now that is just being ridiculous, everybody knows that phones run on magical fairies, not pixes.
Maybe the phone is telling you a voda employee, that it should not be oppressed, and should be free i.e. no branding just plain good old SE.

i upgraded my MW (MagicWare) to level 8, main updates include pixies instead of fairies (more stable and reliable), but still they HAVE to wear vodafone t-shirts which cause them to overheat and not play mp3's properly... lol.
I'm gonna set up a new website for people who's phones have commited suicide on more than one occasion.
