Hi
I've gone a bit mad looking for info on this problem! I've also been on the phone to Virgin and it looks like a dead-end!

I have a P800
I've got it working with Opera on GPRS
I've got it workng with wap csd and dial-up!

Virgin say they don't support eMail over GPRS! And no go-live date for this service!

Does anyone out there have eMail working either in-bound, out-bound or both ways with Virgin using GPRS?

Or, has anyone got a hack to get it working?
Even better if you use Pipex as that's my ISP!

Thanx in advance for any help?

John.

Something that may be a good alternative is if your operator also offers CSD. Yov could access your POP/IMAP via CSD. This message was posted from a P800

Thanx AYA for the speedy reply!
Yes got that working but is not as fast as I need to be + cost will be more and if I'm using CSD then I'll not be able to take incoming call?

Verry annoying as I can use Opera over GPRS! Virgin really need to get email working over GPRS!

@ jabba2010: Most operators have one silly thing or the other going. Hope yours sits up soon on this issue. Really, it does not make sense. This message was posted from a P800
