i have 2 credits with multiserver and a T28 cable.i have connected the cable to the com port and to the phone and then tried to "read CID" all that happens is a message to "Press on button of the phone shortly" and thern nothing happens.I disconnected the phone and the same message comes up.It is a brand new cable arrived this morning.What am i doing wrong?I even get the same message when i disconnect the cable from the COM port

No all i set up in there was the 115200 speed which other do i have to set up for the cable to work?

I only ever used data cable 4 sending stuff from t68i etc which was a while ago,try and get connectivity between fone/ pc first. This message was posted from a K700i

Take out the battery slightly, just one sec, then press on button again...

You soemtimes have to jiggle the battery, to get the server going....

Thanks for the help i was just getting back to you.I have it sorted now the was a check box for "dtr" and "rts" i checked the dtr and it all worked.I now have a Unbranded with with new firmware
